About the role

The Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach will lead the field hockey program at Moravian Academy, fostering a competitive and inclusive environment for student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for players
• Manage team travel and logistics
• Collaborate with administration to ensure compliance with all regulations
• Work closely with other coaches and staff to enhance overall athletic department performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Proven success in developing and implementing successful coaching strategies
• Experience with NCAA rules and regulations

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Passion for field hockey and commitment to student development

Skills

• Knowledge of field hockey rules and regulations
• Proficiency in managing team finances and budgets
• Experience with video analysis tools
