Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach

About the Role

An ideal coaching candidate for JUHSD and its respective school possesses expertise in the following areas:

• Rules, strategies, techniques, sports equipment, physical fitness, and safety of their respective sport
• Ability to motivate student athletes to maximize their athletic talent
• Preparation of student athletes for competition
• Administrative tasks, including:
  • Scheduling athletic events and practices
  • Arranging transportation
  • Maintaining supplies and equipment
  • Assisting in the maintenance of school facilities
• Ensuring student athletes meet and maintain eligibility requirements for participation in high school athletic events
• Strong communication and supervisory skills
• Ability to make decisions under pressure
• Collaboration with the Athletic Director and site administration to enforce all school rules and policies
