Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of teachers and assistants to provide quality education and care for infants and toddlers.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor children's progress and adjust curriculum and activities as needed.
- Collaborate with parents and families to support children's learning and development.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment that meets all licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and assistants to ensure they meet program standards and expectations.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with 12 ECE credits.
- Minimum of three years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices for teaching and care of young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
