Head Teacher

About the role

You will supervise and support educational staff in a supportive environment, working with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. This 52-week teaching opportunity involves a split schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm, with four days in Malvern and one day in Norristown.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and supervision to educational staff.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the administration of the school program.
• Oversee supervision of IEPs and the IEP process; complete initial transition of IEP for new students within 30 days.
• Co-teach/push into classrooms to assist teacher adoption of new skills.
• Serve as a building-level leader in core and supplementary curricular resources.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Special Education.
• Current Instructional I or Instructional II PA special education certification.
• PA Educational Supervisory Certificate preferred.
• 3 years of teaching experience.

Salary

$64,773 – $73,841.22 based on years of experience.
