About the role
Acelero Learning Delaware supports early childhood education programs to create positive outcomes for children and families. We are seeking passionate educators to guide classrooms and foster family partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Lead a joyful, inclusive classroom promoting school readiness, literacy, language, and social-emotional development.
- Implement a child-centered curriculum reflecting the needs, interests, and cultural backgrounds of the children you serve.
- Foster family partnerships through home visits, parent-teacher conferences, and involving families in their child's learning journey.
- Support diverse learners, including those with disabilities, by integrating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) into daily instruction.
- Document and assess progress using observations, anecdotal notes, and digital tools like CreativeCurriculum.net to individualize instruction.
- Ensure child safety and well-being by conducting daily health checks and modeling positive behaviors during meals and play.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent coursework.
- Pass a physical exam and background check.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and actively engage with children throughout the day.

- Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus!
