Head Start Teacher Assistant – New London, WI

Responsibilities

Assist the Classroom Manager in preparing and conducting lesson plans that provide a developmentally age‑ and stage‑appropriate curriculum, utilizing developmentally appropriate practices as outlined in the Program’s philosophy and Creative Curriculum.

Requirements

• Two‑year Associate Degree in Child Care and Development through a technical college and one year of classroom experience working directly with children ages 0‑5.
• OR Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or a Registry Level of 6 or greater and two years of experience working directly with children ages 0‑5.
• Must provide a copy of unofficial transcripts or certificate from the WI Registry or class.
• Must be able to work effectively with multi‑cultural children and families.

Pay

Starting pay: $17.10 – $18.81 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule
