About the role
Supports families in the Head Start program by providing individualized family support services to enhance the well-being and development of children.Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits to assess family needs and provide support.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement family engagement strategies.
- Facilitate parent education workshops and activities.
- Assist families in accessing community resources and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Experience working with families and children in early childhood settings.
- Valid Iowa Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass a background check.
