Head of Talent Acquisition – Americas
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team across the Americas.
- Drive the successful delivery of recruitment strategies and hiring plans across multiple business functions and geographies.
- Partner with senior business leaders, HR teams, and workforce planning partners to understand talent requirements and build effective hiring solutions.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for complex, niche, and business-critical positions.
- Ensure delivery against hiring targets while maintaining a strong focus on quality, diversity, compliance, and candidate experience.
- Use market intelligence, data, and recruitment insights to influence talent decisions and improve hiring outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes, tools, and operational practices.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across Early Careers, Internal Mobility, HR Operations, Compensation, Global Mobility, Immigration, and Onboarding teams.
- Build strong partnerships with external talent networks and recruitment partners where appropriate.
- Champion Nokia's employer brand and ensure a consistent and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Requirements
Significant experience in talent acquisition within a technology-focused environment.
Strong agency recruitment background with a proven ability to deliver difficult and hard-to-fill hiring projects.
Demonstrated success developing sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for specialist, niche, and highly competitive technical roles.
Leadership experience managing, coaching, or developing recruiters and team leads.
Experience recruiting engineering and technology talent in fast-paced and competitive markets.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels of the organization.
Experience working across multiple countries, cultures, and business environments.
Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and the broader talent ecosystem, including onboarding, immigration, global mobility, and workforce planning.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
Qualifications
Experience recruiting within telecommunications, networking, cloud, infrastructure, software, or related technology sectors.
Experience supporting engineering organizations with highly specialized talent requirements.
Experience working within a large, global, matrixed organization.
