About the role
The Legal Solutions Architect (LSA) role is part of Orbital Copilot, an AI assistant designed to accelerate complex due diligence in commercial real estate law. The role involves shaping pilots, embedding the product into workflows, and managing a growing team of specialists.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Legal Solutions Architect function, including 1:1s, performance reviews, career development, capacity planning, account enablement, and establishing daily rhythms.
- Partner closely with Lauren Hirt, the Head Legal Solutions Architect, to support strategic enterprise work and ensure the team has the necessary resources to succeed.
- Build infrastructure where there isn't any, creating career paths, playbooks, onboarding flows, and other operational layers that enable the team to scale effectively.
- Manage accomplished, opinionated team members, providing guidance and support while maintaining a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Think deliberately about how AI impacts management practices, using it as a tool to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Experience scaling a small specialist function, such as solutions consulting, sales engineering, pre-sales, professional services, or a similar area.
- Knowledge of complex products (data, dev tools, cybersecurity, legal tech) and the ability to think before selling, not just push hard.
- Strong background in managing accomplished, opinionated professionals, ideally from senior roles in other organizations.
- Ability to learn the real estate legal domain quickly and establish credibility in technical discussions with senior Orbital and external stakeholders.

- Proven track record of building and leading functions that scale, from start to finish.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a diverse team of professionals.
- Understanding of the importance of security and compliance within the organization.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly with senior leaders and technical teams.

Benefits
Competitive compensation package including a base salary of $215,000 - $260,000, a comprehensive benefits package, and equity.
Pay
