About the role
Lead CMSME product innovation, development, and modifications while collaborating with the Head of Business/CBO and other departments to integrate them into broader business strategies. Drive branches and business units to acquire new SME customers and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.
Responsibilities
- Direct follow-up on proposals sent from branches for approval, sort declined accounts, and discuss with branches to arrange reviews as needed.
- Provide guidance for preparation and execution of loan agreements with BB, MFIs, NGOs, and other development outsourcing agencies.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements from Bangladesh Bank regarding SME banking and loan portfolio structuring through proper segmentation.
- Maintain liaison with women-led organizations such as BWCCI and SMEF to arrange training and workshops for women entrepreneurs across the country.
- Monitor non-performing SME loans and decide on strategies for restructuring or recovery.
- Achieve the annual SME loan disbursement target set by Bangladesh Bank.
- Work closely with other divisions and branches, supervise report preparation, and visit SME clients to assess business viability.
- Arrange training and workshops to educate branch officials on SME products and services, including preparation of training modules.
- Actively participate in fairs, workshops, and seminars related to SME and agriculture organized by various agencies.
- Maintain strong relationships to facilitate the collection of low-cost funds from Bangladesh Bank (BB) or SME Foundation (SMEF).
- Provide guidance to sales managers and DSTs for setting sales strategies, delegating and monitoring targets, and calculating sales achievements and incentives.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in relevant fields.
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
