Head of Servers & Infrastructure

We are looking for an experienced Head of Servers & Infrastructure to lead our technical operations and ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems.

About the role

As the Head of Servers & Infrastructure, you will oversee our server architecture, cloud infrastructure, and IT operations. You will work closely with development, security, and product teams to build and maintain a robust, high-performance environment that supports our business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable server and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all production systems.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for infrastructure issues.
• Develop and enforce infrastructure policies, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize application performance and deployment pipelines.
• Manage infrastructure budgets, capacity planning, and vendor relationships.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance using IaC (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Oversee disaster recovery, backup strategies, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in server/infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and hybrid environments.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix systems, networking, and security.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Deep understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
