Head of Security

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and policies
• Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations
• Lead incident response efforts and ensure timely containment and resolution of security incidents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions into product development lifecycle
• Train and mentor other security professionals on best practices and emerging threats

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, including at least 5 years leading security initiatives
• Proven track record of successful security program implementation and management
• Experience with security architecture design and compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• CISSP certification preferred
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
