Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of RF SoC platforms integrating RF, analog, and mixed-signal subsystems
- Define system specifications, performance targets, and design strategies for integrated RF solutions
- Collapse cross-functional collaboration across RFIC, packaging, verification, and test teams
- Oversee the full silicon development lifecycle from architecture through design, tape-out, and silicon validation
- Drive system-level trade-offs across performance, power consumption, chip area, and manufacturability
- Guide integration of RF front-end blocks such as LNAs, mixers, PAs, VCOs, and switching networks into scalable SoC designs
- Support silicon bring-up, debugging, and characterization following fabrication
- Mentor engineering teams and promote best practices in RF SoC design and development
Requirements
- Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in RFIC or RF SoC design and development
- Strong understanding of RF system architecture and integrated circuit design
- Experience delivering silicon products through tape-out and validation
- Must be willing to work full-time, onsite, in Atlanta, GA
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RF front-end architectures including LNAs, mixers, PAs, VCOs, and frequency synthesizers
- Familiarity with RFIC design tools and simulation platforms such as Cadence or ADS
- Experience integrating analog, RF, and digital subsystems within a single SoC platform
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience in semiconductor product development
