Head of Revenue Cycle Management

The Role

We are looking for a part-time Revenue Cycle Manager to join Loula’s small but mighty team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about independent perinatal healthcare workers and excited about the opportunity to streamline financial processes in a growing startup.

What You'll Do

• Oversee Revenue Cycle Operations: Manage and optimize the end-to-end revenue cycle process, including medical coding, medical billing, claims submission, and payment collections.
• Claims Management: Handle the submission, tracking, and follow-up of insurance claims, resolving issues with denied or delayed claims.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance the overall financial performance of the organization.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze revenue cycle reports, providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team to support decision-making.

You Are

• Experienced in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management: You have a strong background in medical billing/coding, revenue cycle management, or insurance operations.
• Detail-Oriented and Organized: You are meticulous in your work, ensuring that all billing and coding processes are accurate and compliant.
• Independent and Proactive: You can work independently, identify issues, and implement solutions without explicit direction.
• Mission-Driven: You are passionate about improving perinatal healthcare access and supporting the professionals who make it possible.
