Job Summary
At Flying Tiger Copenhagen, we support partners in identifying the right locations, building strong partnerships, and enabling sustainable retail growth across diverse markets. We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Property & Expansion to support our franchise partners' growth journeys across the Americas region.
About the Role
The Head of Property & Expansion will play a key role in supporting our franchise partners in delivering their store expansion plans across the region. They will work closely with partners on their expansion strategies, ensuring they are equipped with the right market insights, location assessments, and commercial guidance to make strong property decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead property and expansion support activities across the Americas region
- Partner with franchisees to develop, challenge, and support expansion plans
- Track and report on partner expansion pipelines, timelines, and performance against targets
- Ensure strong internal visibility of expansion progress through regular reporting
- Drive market analysis, forecasting, and expansion planning to support decision-making
- Provide commercial and financial insights to support strategic expansion decisions
- Support evaluation of site opportunities, relocations, renewals, and closures
- Review and challenge site appraisals to ensure strong commercial outcomes
- Support lease negotiations and maintain landlord relationships where relevant
- Ensure property decisions support long-term commercial performance and growth
- Collaborate with legal, operations, finance, and construction teams to support delivery
- Maintain accurate property and expansion data in global systems
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning processes
- Continuously improve ways of working to strengthen partner support and service levels
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience within retail franchising, real estate, or property expansion
- Strong understanding of retail property and lease negotiation processes
- Proven experience managing multi-market or multi-territory portfolios
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience evaluating business cases
- Solid track record of supporting expansion through franchise models
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
