Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage and organize the activity of the Program Management team: planning, organization of work, definition and monitoring of workloads
- Coordination and monitoring through KPIs of Project Management team for all activities such as quotation and project management
- Promote and ensure the projects and associated documentation are in compliance with the NPI process
- Drive the profitability of plant projects with the finance controller
- Drive project risks identification and mitigation plans
- Avoid inadequacy between the necessary skills and the objectives of the company: participate in the definition of recruitment needs, assess employee performance, draw up training plan, manage integration and training of new hires
- Manage technical answers for Request for Quotation for the plant and support sales with the presentation of the technical content of the proposal such as technology plan, lay-out, timeline, project governance, industrial risk assessment
- Organize the local Program Steering Committee and coordinate input for Global Program tracking
- Support lean and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety procedures including the use of Personal Protective Equipment, as required
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of program manage/project management experience
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience in program management of industrialization projects for mass production of products with plastic injection and high-speed assembly technologies strongly preferred
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary project team within a transversal organization
- Experience in direct customer contact
- Strong leadership, convincing and communication abilities
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Background in medical device, pharmaceutical industry or industries of mass production such as automotive
Work Environment
- Works in an office and clean manufacturing environment that may include moderate noise levels and required appropriate PPE and cleanroom apparel
- Some travel required
