About the role
This role will lead production operations for a specialized product portfolio, with accountability for ramp plans, staffing, and delivery performance. The leader will own outcomes across the transition from development into full rate production while aligning resources to meet demanding timelines and quality expectations. Success in this position will require close partnership with Engineering, Deployment Operations, and Program Management to support execution of the organization’s manufacturing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own production outcomes, including ramp plans and headcount management
- Drive resources and personnel to achieve production goals
- Lead production operations for a suite of products
- Ensure cross-functional teams meet deadlines and production targets
- Execute the organization's five-year strategic vision for aerospace and defense manufacturing
- Oversee the transition of products from development to full rate production
- Build partnerships with Engineering, Deployment Operations, and Program Management to ensure success
Qualifications
- 10+ years in a production leadership role with a proven track record of scaling products from prototype to full rate production
- Experience in discrete production operations within technical industries such as aerospace, consumer electronics, medical, or automotive
- Demonstrated ownership of new product ramps through full rate production
- Experience managing a P&L in a production environment
- Ability to lead a workforce of 100+ employees across various functions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred, but not required

Compensation
$261,000 – $346,000 annually
