About the role

The Head of Operations, Global Defense is a deeply cross-functional role working extensively across all business lines and functions of Anduril, driving the operational infrastructure and cadence to succeed at global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the success of international program management across the growing portfolio in support of Anduril’s business lines, ensuring excellence across people, product, delivery, customer management, and all enabling functions.
  • Build and execute Anduril’s ambitious vision for international localization and industrial cooperation, leveraging subject matter experts and enablers across the Anduril ecosystem.
  • Drive execution for Anduril’s international expansion and infrastructure at a global scale, covering corporate operations, sovereign infrastructure builds for international partners, and close partnership with the company’s strategic real estate team for our global footprint build-out.
  • Set the vision and mature the information management and communications pathways across Global Defense and all interfaces with the company. This covers the definition and enforcement of standards, platforms, localization of infrastructure, and mechanisms for continuous improvement across the portfolio.
  • Own the Global Defense budget and critical corporate planning functions for the international portfolio. This requires a strategic, long term view aligned with our international capture trajectory, as well as focused, detailed planning across the global footprint to meet the needs of rapidly expanding portfolio.
  • Partner with Global Defense leadership and Anduril’s People Team to drive all HR projects and initiatives to shore up and continuously develop our international workforce, with particular focus on individual and team development, talent acquisition, people operations, global mobility initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and hold a US government clearance.
  • Able to travel internationally 25-50% of the time.
  • 15+ years experience in roles that span across top-tier tech firms, management consulting, and internal business operations, ideally at an early-stage start-up.
  • Strong technical and programmatic aptitude and proven ability to understand tradeoffs and ability to work closely and effectively with growth and engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale international programs, delivery technologies with US Allies and partners.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to solve operational problems in a way that is both data-driven and people-centric.
  • Ability to work onsite at HQ in Costa Mesa, CA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in technology or engineering, required; advanced degree (MBA, technical, international relations, or related) strongly preferred.
  • Experience working at a high growth company.
  • Experience working in defense or aerospace.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI and autonomous systems is a plus.
