Head of Operations, Air Dominance & Strike

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within an Aerospace & Defense environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all business operations and infrastructure for the business line
• Act as chief strategist to balance resources and execution risks
• Translate growth signals into operational demand across multiple teams
• Manage governance structures, including business reviews and planning
• Collaborate with leadership to refine organizational structure and hiring standards
• Lead special projects, internal process evolution, and M&A efforts

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of operational leadership experience in high-growth environments
• Experience scaling hardware production and fielding operations
• Strong financial acumen, including unit economics and P&L management
• Ability to think strategically while managing tactical details
• Proven track record of developing operational infrastructure for rapid growth
• Must be eligible for US Top Secret clearance

Pay

$220,000 – $336,000 annually
