About the role
North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre provides free, confidential and impartial advice to around 25,000 people each year, helping with issues such as money, benefits, housing and employment. As an independent charity rooted in our communities, we're committed to improving lives while continually developing our people and services.
Responsibilities
- Create learning opportunities that enhance performance, build confidence and strengthen organisational capability.
- Lead our organisation-wide approach to learning and development, shaping how we develop employees and volunteers.
- Work closely with managers to strengthen leadership capability and improve learning across the organisation.
- Support continuous improvement by providing strategic oversight for organisational projects.
Requirements
- Experience in leading learning and development.
- Strategic thinking and ability to influence senior leaders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, psychology, business).
- Proven track record in learning and development.
- Experience in a similar role or equivalent.

Schedule
Remote working from within the UK, with the option for hybrid and office-based working from our offices in Harrogate, Malton, Northallerton, Richmond, Scarborough or Selby.
