About the role

At Humiint, we partner with public issuers and late-stage private companies who need rigorous support to keep their investor programs running smoothly. Whether it’s updating the financial model after a quarter close, managing the CRM database of buy-side contacts, or polishing the investor deck for a non-deal roadshow, the right Head of Investor Relations ensures the materials are flawless and the data is accurate. We’re looking to connect with detail-oriented financial communicators and analysts who excel at the intersection of data and design. If you are an expert at building robust financial models, crafting clear presentations, and managing the logistics of investor engagement, this is a great opportunity to apply your technical skills flexibly while supporting high-performing finance teams. This role is ideal for former equity research associates or IR analysts who want to focus on the execution and analysis side of capital markets—producing high-quality deliverables on a part-time, project-based, or retainer basis.

Responsibilities

  • Presentation Design: Creating and updating high-impact investor presentations (decks) and fact sheets that align with the current corporate narrative.
  • Financial Modeling: Maintaining and updating the internal consensus model to track analyst estimates against actual performance.
  • CRM Management: keeping the investor database clean, logging meeting notes, and tracking shareholder activity.
  • Targeting Analysis: Running screens to identify potential new investors based on investment style, peer holdings, and geography.
  • Q&A Preparation: drafting detailed answers to anticipated analyst questions regarding margins, guidance, and macro headwinds.
  • Website Management: Ensuring the Investor Relations website is up-to-date with the latest press releases, SEC filings, and governance documents.
  • Logistics Coordination: Scheduling investor meetings, organizing earnings calls, and managing the calendar for roadshows and conferences.
  • Peer Benchmarking: Tracking competitor earnings calls and releases to provide comparative analysis to the internal team.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Background as an IR Analyst, Equity Research Associate, or in Financial Planning & Analysis.

Qualifications

  • Technical Mastery: Advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint proficiency are non-negotiable.
  • Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of the three financial statements and key valuation metrics.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with financial terminals and IR platforms.

Skills

  • Attention to Detail: The ability to spot a typo in a press release or a formula error in a spreadsheet before it goes public.
  • Writing Skills: Ability to draft clear, compliant financial copy for releases and scripts.
  • Responsiveness: Understanding the time-sensitive nature of market hours and earnings cycles.
