About the role

We are seeking a Head of Investor Relations to join our team at ExamWorks. This position is ideal for someone with experience in sell-side equity research, investment banking, or buy-side analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation of quarterly earnings materials, including earnings releases, presentations, scripts, and Q&A materials.
  • Support the CFO and CEO in the development of the company’s quarterly and annual guidance and communication of the company’s guidance philosophy.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of earnings calls and related investor communications.
  • Partner with executive leadership to ensure consistent messaging across all external communications.
  • Advise senior leadership on investor sentiment, market perceptions, valuation dynamics, and shareholder expectations.
  • Cook up and execute non-deal roadshows, investor conferences, analyst meetings, and investor days.
  • Manage relationships with covering analysts and support efforts to expand research coverage over time.
  • Analyze ownership trends, shareholder composition, and trading activity.
  • Identify and target high-quality long-term investors.
  • Maintain detailed understanding of consensus estimates and key investor concerns.
  • Benchmark disclosure against other relevant public companies.
  • Prepare materials for Board meetings regarding shareholder feedback, market performance, valuation trends, and investor engagement.
  • Support ESG, governance, and shareholder engagement initiatives, where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years experience of sell-side equity research, investment banking, OR buy-side analyst experience, preferably within the healthcare services or business services sector.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation knowledge with excellent diligence and attention to detail.
  • The ability to synthesize complex financial and operational information into a compelling investment narrative.
  • Strong and effective communication and presentation skills by creating and conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively, and asking questions where clarification is needed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality.
