Head of Infrastructure — Multi-Cloud, Kubernetes, HIPAA

About the role

Own and evolve the entire infrastructure stack for a fast-growing company operating in a regulated (HIPAA) environment, running production workloads across multiple clouds. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role focused on building, securing, and scaling infrastructure end-to-end, and setting the standards others will follow as the team grows.

Responsibilities

• Own Kubernetes clusters across AWS and GCP, including networking, scaling, and security hardening
• Build and enforce HIPAA-compliant security, audit, and data protection practices
• Lead observability, incident response, and Infrastructure-as-Code adoption using Pulumi

Requirements

• Proven production infrastructure experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR)
• Deep Kubernetes expertise across multiple cloud providers
• Hands-on mindset — comfortable writing Pulumi modules and debugging incidents yourself

Not a people-management role — pure technical ownership.
