Head of Inbound Marketing
We are looking for a personal financial planning professional (Certified Financial Planner™ preferred) to lead our client advising efforts. You will serve as a fiduciary, providing holistic advice on saving, retirement, debt management, investments, and more. This is arguably the most important position at the company, placing you on the front lines helping clients.
About You
We are especially interested in candidates with experience building web APIs with Go or experience with functional programming (e.g., Elixir, NodeJS, Clojure, F#). While you may not have experience with all technologies in our stack, you are motivated to learn deeply. You will have the opportunity to work with both Go and Elixir alongside experienced teammates who can teach and pair with you.
You care about security, code quality, scalability, performance, and simplicity. Above all, you seek operational excellence and apply the best engineering practices possible. While not everything can be perfect, you ensure you always understand the trade-offs.
Responsibilities

- Process transactions.
- Send emails about our site or respond to inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Manage client relationships as a fiduciary, providing holistic financial advice.
Requirements
- Professional experience in personal financial planning (Certified Financial Planner™ preferred).
- Ability to provide holistic advice on saving, retirement, debt management, and investments.
- Experience with Go (for web APIs) or functional programming (e.g., Elixir, NodeJS, Clojure, F#).
- Strong focus on security, code quality, scalability, performance, and simplicity.
