Head of Fundraising
Job Summary
The Head of Fundraising will secure and cultivate major donor relationships, grow existing giving programs, and help implement the overall fundraising strategy. They will also contribute to the development of the prospect pipeline for Assisted Places fundraising and engage in various fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure and cultivate major donor relationships
- Grow existing giving programs
- Implement the overall fundraising strategy
- Contribute to the development of the prospect pipeline for Assisted Places fundraising
- Involvement with a small number of other discrete fundraising projects
- Embed themselves in school life by participating in telethons and/or giving days
- Play a leading role in delivering these events with the Development Director
Requirements
- Experience and motivation as a fundraiser
- A passion for growing and cultivating the supporter base
- An articulate, tenacious, and persuasive approach
- A strong track-record of forging and cultivating long-term relationships
- A firm belief in the aims of the Assisted Places program and the value of an independent education
