Job Description As Head of Finance at Axiom, you will partner directly with the CEO to drive strategic growth, pricing, and capital raising. You'll transition existing outsourced infrastructure into a robust in-house function, managing everything from day-to-day accounting and FP&A to complex GTM strategy for a world-class team of researchers from Meta and DeepMind. What You Will Do Partner with the CEO on strategic go-to-market initiatives, pricing models, and future capital raising efforts to scale the business.Own the full-cycle finance function, including FP&A, cash management, reporting, and compliance, while taking over from existing outsourced firms.Implement scalable systems and controls to support a rapidly growing team of 30+ deeply technical AI researchers and engineers. The ideal candidate Proven experience as a Head of Finance or VP Finance at a venture-backed startup, having personally led equity fundraising from Series A through Series C.Demonstrated success building a finance function from scratch, including setting up core accounting, reporting, and unit economics frameworks.Ability to thrive in a non-hierarchical, high-ambiguity environment and act as a strategic partner on complex GTM and pricing decisions.
