Head of Environmental Compliance, US

Your responsibilities

• Lead regional environmental strategy and execution, aligning manufacturing sites and R&D with Reckitt’s global environmental and sustainability objectives while championing environmental priorities across North America
• Ensure regulatory compliance and environmental risk management, overseeing adherence to applicable laws, leading risk assessments and incident response, and supporting sites to close audit findings on time
• Drive sustainability and impact programs, including initiatives to reduce water use, waste, carbon emissions, and packaging impact, while embedding eco-design and circularity principles in partnership with Supply and Procurement
• Provide governance, reporting, and transparency for environmental KPIs and data systems, ensuring accurate tracking of initiatives and performance across sites
• Lead stakeholder engagement and team development, partnering with internal teams and regulators, representing Reckitt externally, and building high-performing environmental teams with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

The experience we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in environmental leadership within CPG or manufacturing industries
• Deep understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability frameworks (e.g., EPA, CEPA, GHG Protocol)
• Experience environmental data systems

• Innovative and open-minded problem solver, bringing creative, practical solutions to environmental and operational issues
