Job Responsibilities
- Lead full ownership of the electrical DMC scope within the assigned product line with accountability for system performance, deployment consistency, cost structure, and margin performance.
- Build, mature, and continuously improve the electrical operating system supporting the product line.
- Lead and develop a dedicated electrical team including an Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Designer, Electrical Manufacturing SME, and Electrical Construction Lead.
- Drive alignment between product intent, manufacturing integration, and field deployment execution.
- Influence electrical distribution strategies, panelization approaches, grounding systems, lighting controls integration, and mission-critical interfaces during product definition phases.
- Ensure electrical designs align with manufacturability, repeatability, field performance objectives, and standardized deployment strategies.
- Partner cross-functionally with Program Leadership, Platform Governance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Practice Groups, and Construction teams to improve sourcing strategies, component standardization, deployment methods, and operational efficiency.
- Support the integration of electrical scope into takt-based manufacturing environments while reducing field rework and installation variability.
- Lead early deployment efforts with hands-on operational involvement to ensure successful field execution.
- Establish disciplined performance feedback loops that convert field deployment lessons into structured product revisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive reductions in variability while increasing deployment predictability, scalability, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Provide leadership across design integration, manufacturing coordination, commissioning strategy, and field execution activities.
- Support development of long-term electrical systems strategies that position BLOX products for scalable growth in mission-critical environments.
- Travel to active project sites to support deployments, field operations, commissioning activities, and operational alignment.
Job Skills & Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or high-reliability electrical systems environments.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex electrical systems from design through deployment.
- Strong experience leading across design coordination, manufacturing integration, construction execution, and operational deployment.
- Direct accountability for electrical cost performance, margin ownership, budgeting, or large-scale financial management.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA requirements, grounding and bonding systems, and electrical power distribution systems.
- Experience with switchgear, generators, UPS systems, utility coordination, mission-critical redundancy architectures, and commissioning integration.
- Ability to interpret and evaluate electrical drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, and technical design documentation.
- Experience integrating commissioning and operational performance considerations into design and deployment processes.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience building, mentoring, and developing high-performing technical teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, construction, supply chain, and operational leadership teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in data center, mission-critical, or high-reliability environments preferred.
- Experience with prefabrication, modular construction, or repeatable product delivery environments preferred.
- Ability to lead operational change, reduce deployment variability, and improve system standardization in fast-paced environments.
- Professional Engineer (PE), Master Electrician, or equivalent field leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to travel as required to support active deployments and field operations.
