Head of Disability & Voluntary Benefits Claims Operations

About the role

Own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale. Partner with people leaders, finance, and executive stakeholders to align rewards programs with business needs and employee experience. Strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end claims operations for Disability and Voluntary Benefits
• Ensure exceptional customer experience and operational performance
• Collaborate with various departments to achieve strategic objectives
• Drive modernization via process improvements and technology
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
• Develop talent strategies to build a high-performing organization
• Represent the claims organization to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• 15+ years of leadership experience in disability, absence management, or group insurance claims
• Experience managing large, multi-site operations with organizational complexity
• Proven ability to drive operational excellence and transformation
• In-depth knowledge of disability and voluntary benefits products and claims administration
• Experience collaborating with functional leaders across product, finance, and technology

Pay

$190,300 – $285,500 annually
