About the role
We are looking for a strategic technology executive to lead the vision, delivery, and continuous improvement of customer-facing digital platforms in St. Augustine, Florida. This role will shape the systems that support online commerce, marketing engagement, sales enablement, and the overall customer journey across multiple premium brands. The ideal candidate combines strong platform leadership, cross-functional partnership, and a practical understanding of modern digital ecosystems, including AI-enabled solutions and third-party integrations.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term strategy, governance model, and delivery roadmap for digital platforms that support commercial and customer experience objectives.
- Lead the execution and optimization of eCommerce and related business applications, ensuring strong alignment with sales, marketing, operations, and service needs.
- Manage and develop a small team of analysts and web-focused resources, setting priorities and fostering accountability and growth.
- Partner with business leaders across multiple functions to identify platform improvements that enhance customer engagement and streamline operational workflows.
- Oversee relationships with software vendors, implementation firms, and external technology partners to ensure quality delivery and ongoing platform performance.
- Guide integration planning and execution across core digital tools, data flows, and connected applications to support a seamless user experience.
- Evaluate and introduce AI-enabled capabilities where they can improve efficiency, insight generation, personalization, or platform effectiveness.
- Establish standards for platform governance, performance measurement, risk management, and continuous improvement across the digital environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience leading digital platforms, eCommerce environments, or enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience with responsibility for coaching, prioritization, and team leadership.
- Demonstrated success owning platform roadmaps and delivering large-scale application or business technology initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of digital commerce ecosystems, customer-facing technologies, and process optimization within complex organizations.
- Experience managing SaaS providers, external implementation partners, and ongoing vendor relationships.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively across cross-functional leadership teams.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Magento or Adobe Commerce, HubSpot or Salesforce, API-based integrations, and AI-supported tools.
- Working knowledge of environments and practices related to AWS technologies, Cisco technologies, core infrastructure, and Agile Scrum.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful project management and leadership in digital transformation projects.
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Understanding of digital marketing strategies and their impact on customer engagement.
- Knowledge of data analytics and its application in improving digital platform performance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
