Head of Core C++ Low Latency Dev / CTO - Prop Trading - NYC

About the role

A proprietary trading firm with offices in Chicago, NYC, and Miami is actively looking to hire a tech / team lead for their core development team (potential CTO). The firm specialises in algorithmic and high frequency trading strategies across equities, options, and futures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the core development team
• Oversee low latency trading systems development
• Manage and mentor a team of 10–20 people

Qualifications

• Proven background in C++ low latency trading
• Experience leading technical teams in a proprietary trading or HFT environment
• Deep understanding of algorithmic and high-frequency trading strategies across equities, options, and futures

Pay

$250,000 – $400,000 base plus bonus.
