About the role
High Peak Borough Council and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council are seeking an ambitious and strategic leader to join their Alliance Management Team as Head of Communities & Climate Change. This role will lead key services including climate change, biodiversity, community wellbeing, community safety, safeguarding, the voluntary sector, and arts, culture and heritage. The successful candidate will work with elected members, partners and stakeholders to drive innovation, collaboration and transformation, helping to create resilient, sustainable communities for the future.
Responsibilities
- Lead services across climate change, biodiversity, community wellbeing, community safety, safeguarding, the voluntary sector, and arts, culture and heritage.
- Drive innovation, collaboration and transformation within the Alliance Management Team.
- Work with elected members, partners and stakeholders to deliver excellent services and positive outcomes for communities.

Pay
Salary: £63,433 to £75,033 per annum.
