About the role
The hiring organization is seeking a Head of Business Operations to join its Strategy, Business Operations, and Analytics team. This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States. In this role, the Head of Business Operations will lead the Business Operations function, setting the standard for operational excellence and execution across the organization. This leader will build and manage a high‑performing team that connects executive strategy with actionable, measured, and delivered results, partnering with senior leadership to establish scalable systems, processes, and operating rhythms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the Business Operations function, defining the team’s charter, mentoring talent, and allocating resources to the highest‑impact priorities across the organization.
- Own the organization‑wide operating system, including planning cycles (OKRs, annual planning), business reviews, and execution frameworks to ensure organizational alignment and velocity.
- Translate corporate strategy into operational execution, bridging the gap between executive vision and day‑to‑day delivery by ensuring cross‑functional teams have clear roadmaps and accountability.
- Drive organizational efficiency and health, proactively identifying silos, operational drag, or resource imbalances, and implementing structural solutions to resolve them.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for critical execution risks, partnering with senior‑level stakeholders to unblock complex programs and drive rapid decision‑making.
- Establish standards for project management and process rigor, creating toolkits and frameworks that elevate the operational maturity of the entire organization.
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Business Operations or related fields, with significant experience building and leading high‑performing teams.
- A track record of operationalizing strategy by taking high‑level goals and building the infrastructure, processes, and teams needed to achieve them.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of diverse projects and stakeholders simultaneously while keeping the team focused.
- Mastery of organizational change management, capable of guiding an organization through growth phases and evolving operating models.
- Strong executive presence with a focus on pragmatism and results, able to cut through noise to drive clarity and action among senior leadership.
- Deep experience with resource planning, headcount management, and operational budgeting.
Pay
Base salary range: $235,000 — $293,000 USD (determined by role, level, and location). Additional compensation includes bonus and equity.
