About the role

St. Michael’s is hiring a Business Development Executive. The executive will lead Business Development efforts to grow the business by identifying, qualifying, capturing, and overseeing proposal efforts for opportunities with DoD, IC, and DHS customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, capture, and oversee proposal efforts for opportunities with DoD, IC, and DHS customers.
  • Build innovative growth strategy and partnership solutions and trusted relationships within government agencies and government contracting partners.
  • Manage and guide the end-to-end process required to win federal contracts.
  • Interface and negotiate with senior executives.
  • Lead and negotiate compliant, win/win partnerships and contracts.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of DOD/IC/DHS industry contacts to leverage as potential teaming partners.
  • Provide strong executive presence, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and oral).

Requirements

  • Proven business development track record winning new business with annual value >$5M in DoD/IC/DHS.
  • Proven record of successfully managing and guiding the end-to-end process required to win federal contracts.
  • Experience building innovative growth strategy and partnership solutions and trusted relationships within government agencies and government contracting partners.
  • Strong network of DOD/IC/DHS industry contacts to leverage as potential teaming partners.
  • Experience in leading and negotiating compliant, win/win partnerships and contracts.
  • Executive presence, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to interface and negotiate with senior executives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of leadership experience, with strong execution, innovation, and passion for growth.
  • Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Pay

Base pay range: $180,000 to $225,000. Final compensation may vary depending on geographic location, relevant skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
