About the role
The Head of Brazil will lead the growth efforts for Taptap Send in key sender-side markets: US, Canada, UK, and UAE. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the Brazilian market.
- Manage customer acquisition and retention strategies, pricing, product quality, and team development.
- Ensure alignment with the company's overall growth and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with diaspora communities and commercial partners.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance product experience and brand awareness.
- Hire, develop, and retain top talent.
- Monitor and interpret growth, operational, and financial metrics to optimize performance.
Requirements
- Based in São Paulo, New York, or Mexico.
- Exceptional knowledge and networks in the Brazilian diaspora.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience building, developing, managing, and leading teams.
- Advanced analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel, Google Suite, SQL, Python, or R.
- 7-15 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- An acute "own it" mindset.
- A strong understanding of Portuguese and English; other languages are a plus.
