Position Summary The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Head of Brand & Communications to lead the organization's global brand strategy, communications, editorial voice, and creative direction. This is a unique opportunity to shape the voice, visual identity, and market positioning of the world's leading authority on internal auditing. As the organization's brand leader, you will define how the IIA presents itself to members, stakeholders, partners, and the global marketplace. You will develop and execute enterprise brand strategy, elevate the IIA's presence across digital and traditional channels, and ensure a consistent, compelling brand experience across every touchpoint. Working closely with executive leadership, you will translate market insights into impactful communications, strengthen brand awareness, and build a modern, globally recognized brand that reflects the IIA's leadership within the profession. Work Arrangement This is a hybrid position based in Lake Mary, Florida, combining in-office collaboration with remote work. What You'll Do Lead the IIA's global brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and communications to strengthen brand awareness and engagement. Define and maintain the organization's visual identity, editorial voice, and brand standards across all digital and traditional channels. Partner with executive leadership to translate market research, stakeholder insights, and industry trends into strategic brand initiatives and communications. Oversee integrated marketing campaigns, executive communications, creative development, and content strategy that support organizational goals. Establish brand governance, measurement frameworks, KPIs, and reporting to evaluate brand performance and business impact. Manage creative operations, digital asset management, agency partnerships, and brand approval processes to ensure consistency and quality. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Brand & Communications team while fostering collaboration across departments and external partners. QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). 8+ years of progressive experience in brand strategy, communications, marketing, creative leadership, or corporate communications. Proven success developing and executing enterprise or global brand strategies. Demonstrated ability to translate market research, stakeholder insights, and business objectives into compelling brand positioning and messaging. Experience presenting strategic recommendations and influencing executive leadership. Experience leading creative teams, managing agency partnerships, and driving cross-functional initiatives. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar creative platforms, along with digital asset management systems and marketing technology solutions. Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a membership association, nonprofit, professional services organization, credentialing body, or mission-driven global brand. Experience developing brand governance frameworks and measuring brand performance through KPIs and analytics. Knowledge of digital marketing, content strategy, social media, SEO, and omnichannel communications. Experience leading brand modernization, rebranding, or large-scale organizational communications initiatives.
