Head of Application Development

Core Responsibilities

• Leading and developing high-performing engineering and Data & AI teams
• Establishing development standards, architectural governance, and SDLC best practices
• Driving modernization initiatives across cloud and enterprise platforms
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to define technology roadmaps and prioritize strategic initiatives
• Overseeing software quality, release management, security, and operational support processes
• Supporting cloud-native engineering practices, CI/CD adoption, and scalable application delivery
• Managing vendor relationships, budgeting, and resource planning across engineering functions

Requirements

The environment includes a mix of modern web technologies, cloud platforms, CRM ecosystems, and enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering and IT leadership experience
• 5+ years leading enterprise application development teams
• Experience delivering modernization and transformation initiatives at scale
• Background working within multi-cloud environments and modern development ecosystems
• Strong understanding of software architecture, engineering governance, and agile delivery methodologies
• Exposure to Data & AI initiatives such as analytics, data platforms, reporting, or AI-enabled solutions
