Core Responsibilities

• Organize the reception area and handle guest arrivals efficiently.
• Manage waiting lists and coordinate seating arrangements with service staff.
• Respond to booking inquiries, confirm reservations, and maintain accurate records in the Seven Rooms system.
• Compile reports on covers, cancellations, and no-shows to support operational planning and service adjustments.
• Introduce guests to retail pastry items, promotions, and upcoming events.
• Coordinate with management and service teams to maintain consistent standards.
• Collect and review feedback from guests to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain the accuracy of the Seven Rooms database.

Le Majlis operates as a restaurant, café, and pastry lounge inspired by French dining concepts and Emirati design traditions. The venue includes multiple service areas such as a lounge, main dining space, and outdoor seating. Front-of-house roles carry significant responsibility in shaping the overall experience.

Qualifications And Skills

• At least two to three years of experience in a hostess role, including a minimum of one year in a supervisory position.
• Experience with reservation platforms, particularly Seven Rooms.
• Familiarity with digital guest management systems.
• Leadership ability to supervise front-of-house staff, manage scheduling pressures, and maintain order during busy service periods.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to remain composed under pressure.

Language Requirements

Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Arabic is considered beneficial due to the diverse customer base.
