Responsibilities
- Analyze workflow and establish priorities
- Develop standards and set deadlines
- Meet with managers to solicit cooperation and resolve problems
- Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity
- Assign and review the work of software developers
- Manage deployment of the trading strategies
- Assign responsibilities to the software developers and monitor the progress of each project
- Develop profitable low latency trading strategies
- Develop the client applications that assist traders in their live trading
- Develop custom applications as needed by traders
- Bachelor’s degree in computing and information science, computer science or a related field
- Five (5) years of experience as a software architect, software engineer or a related field
- Five (5) years of progressively more responsible post-baccalaureate experience in building proprietary low-latency trading software and strategies; and futures trading exchanges
