About the role
Help in the selection, assignment, scheduling and training of general custodians.
Evaluate the performance of custodial staff on a regular basis.
Maintain an inventory and recommend purchase of supplies, tools, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate boilers and related mechanical equipment
- Cleaning operations
- General maintenance of buildings
Requirements
- General computer knowledge
- Knowledge of energy management systems
- Ability to organize work schedules, train and supervise personnel
- Ability to handle emergency procedures including disconnection of utilities
- Basic knowledge in plumbing, electrical and mechanical trouble-shooting and repair
- Must have a boiler license
- Good work and attendance record
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
Qualifications
- Ability to perform services in the following areas: Operation of boilers and related mechanical equipment; cleaning operations; general maintenance of buildings
