About the Role

Tasked with managing and overseeing all aspects related to the operations of the UNC Pembroke women's softball program. This position is responsible for all phases of coaching a Division II sport.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with NCAA and conference regulations
• Recruit student-athletes
• Manage program budget
• Monitor academic and athletic outcomes of student-athletes
• Hire and supervise assistant coaches
• Engage with campus and community constituent groups
• Oversee program management and fundraising activities
• Plan and schedule practices, facility set-up, games, transportation, and meals
• Handle public relations and promotional activities

Requirements

• Master’s degree required
• Experience coaching softball at the collegiate level
• Knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
