Head Coach - Women's Soccer

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to help build something from the ground up. As part of our newly established athletic department, we are introducing soccer and are looking for a Women's Soccer Head Coach who is ready to lead, innovate, and create a program that reflects our values and vision for student success. The Head Coach serves as a key leader and strategic visionary within the Baker College Athletic Department, responsible for building and sustaining a premier intercollegiate soccer program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of program development, including training, competition strategy, recruiting, and operations
• Ensure full compliance with NAIA and WHAC regulations
• Recruit and evaluate prospective student-athletes
• Supervise and develop coaching staff
• Manage budgets and program operations
• Coordinate team logistics
• Engage in ongoing professional development
• Represent the College with professionalism
• Foster a culture of excellence, integrity, sportsmanship, and inclusion
• Support the academic, athletic, and personal success of student-athletes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Kinesiology, Education, or a related field (master's degree preferred)
• 3–5 years of collegiate coaching experience with increasing levels of responsibility (recommended)
• Familiarity with NAIA or NCAA recruitment and eligibility standards (preferred)
• Proven record of effective coaching, student-athlete development, and budget management
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Valid driver's license
• Belief in and support of the student-first philosophy
• Ability to act as a positive role model and brand ambassador on and off campus
