Head Coach - Volleyball - 7th, Holloman Middle School (ATH-435)

About the role

To help each student achieve the highest level of skill that he/she is capable of while developing self-discipline, good sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem.

Responsibilities

• Work with students to develop their volleyball skills
• Encourage and foster a positive learning environment
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Collaborate with other coaches and school staff
• Attend and participate in team meetings and practices

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current New Mexico Instructor's License preferred
• Have or be able to attain a NMAA coaching certification

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of rules and regulations of sport involved
• Ability to work well with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to work a flexible schedule

Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire athletes
