Head Coach Nixa Youth Girls Basketball
Primary Tasks & Major Activities
Supervise and direct all aspects of the Nixa Youth Basketball (NYBB) program.
Work with the High School Varsity basketball coaches to blend fundamental teaching ideas.
- Organize practice plans
- Lead practices
- Stress safety and proper techniques in teaching fundamentals
Supervision in all practices and game supervision before, during and after practices and games.
Work with Activities Director and develop weekly practice schedules and game planning.
Educational/Skills/Experience Required
- Prior basketball coaching experience preferred
- Willingness to understand and support the District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan
Other Information
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test that are satisfactory to the Board of Education
