Head Coach - Girls Soccer (0.25 FTE)

Seasonal position with a stipend range of $4,685 – $7,293, prorated at 0.25 FTE based on the High School Coaches Salary Schedule and years of coaching experience.

Requirements

• Valid background check as required by the district and WIAA.
• Minimum age of 21 for head coaching positions; 19 for assistant coaching positions.
• Valid first aid and CPR card.
• Annual completion of:
  • WIAA general rules clinic,
  • WIAA-approved sport-specific rule clinic,
  • KSD Vector Training requirements before the season begins.
• Concussion recognition and management with Return to Play Protocols training (renewed every three years per Washington State Law).
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness and Training (renewed every three years per Washington State Law).
• Before the beginning of the third year of coaching, completion of one of the following:
  • District-approved Coaching Principles training,
  • NFHS Coaches Fundamentals Course,
  • WIAA Coaches School (all sessions), or
  • Other WIAA- or district-approved Coaches School.
  This training must be repeated every three years thereafter.
• If hired, must read and sign the KSD Coaches Manual.
