About the role
The position involves leading the Woodridge High School Boys Varsity Tennis team during the Spring 2027 season.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching program for the team
- Manage team logistics including scheduling practices and games
- Provide individualized attention and guidance to student-athletes
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive athletic program
- Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations and policies
Requirements
- Prior high school coaching experience preferred
- Successful sport-specific coaching experience at the high school level
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills with high school-aged students
- Cultural competence
Qualifications
- Dynamic, mission-driven, and motivational leader
- Strong managerial and relationship skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary state coaching certifications
- Current BCI & FBI background check
