HDD Bore Locator

About the role

ATS Welding LLC is expanding its operations to include a full-service construction and welding company, emphasizing safety and quality. Following the recent expansion into Arkansas, the company is now hiring for a new HDD Bore Crew. Positions available include Foreman, Drill Operator, Locator, and Laborers. The Foreman will often lead as the Drill Operator or Locator based on preference and experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses specialized equipment to accurately track the path of the drill, guiding the drilling process and ensuring precise placement of utilities, while avoiding damage to existing infrastructure.
• Knowledge of mud mixing, drilling safety, and the ability to follow directions and work as part of a team are crucial.
• Essential physical requirements include some ability to travel, work extended hours, and potentially handle physically demanding tasks.

Requirements

• DCI or Underground Mag system experience required. Underground Mag experience preferred.
• Ability to pass Operator Qualifications required.
• CDL license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug/alcohol pre-employment test.
