Paid Time Off

Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.

Responsibilities

• Remove spots from carpets
• Perform bonnet and extraction carpet cleaning
• Dispose of trash and assist with hazardous waste collection
• Operate floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, canister vacuum cleaners and shop vacuums
• Cleaning hotel rooms, hallways, common areas and other areas
• Keeping inventory of floor areas
• Scheduling cleaning and maintenance
• Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor
• Cleaning, maintaining, and storing cleaning equipment
• Labeling and measuring chemicals correctly
• Operating chemical dispensing units

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with guests as well as all levels of employees
• Ability to clean floors and replenish soft and hard supplies
• Ability to effectively and efficiently move from floor to floor as needed
• Physical mobility and the ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
