About the role
Bachelor’s Level Direct Care Staff position located in Bamberg, SC. Full-time contractor role. Wright Directions Family Services (WDFS) provides community-based services for at-risk youth, including Behavioral Health Screening, Diagnostic Assessment Services, Therapy/Counseling Services, and Service Plan Development. WDFS has received accolades from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, offering medical or remedial services aimed at reducing physical or mental disability and restoring optimal functional level.
Responsibilities
- Behavioral modification intervention for children and adolescents with mild to severe behavioral disturbances.
- In-school, after-school/evening, home & community-based service interventions.
- Family Support Services to help families develop coping strategies for behavioral health issues.
- Independent Living Skills training covering basic living, problem‑solving, and social skill building.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a program primarily psychological in nature (e.g., counseling, guidance, or social science equivalent) from an accredited university or college. Experience working with the served population is preferred.

Pay
$18–$19 per hour for face‑to‑face Behavior Support; $23–$25 per hour for Crisis Management.
