HCA - Senior Project Manager

Position Overview

CereCore is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of projects within the MEDITECH Expanse implementation project for HCA Healthcare. This role requires strong strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive project management to ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEDITECH Expanse implementation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
• Aid in documentation of technical and functional requirements, providing system guidance to clients.
• Conduct workflow and gap analysis, offering recommendations for process improvements.
• Support system build activities and participate in testing events, ensuring quality outcomes.
• Provide onsite and remote support for clients and team members.
• Identify risks and issues, escalating them appropriately per project guidelines.
• Maintain proper project tracking, status reporting, and adherence to issue and risk escalation processes.
• Offer professional guidance on optimal workflows and system functions based on industry best practices.
• Contribute to post-project review and documentation updates.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of Healthcare Project Management experience required.
• PMO experience
• Proven ability to define project requirements and collaborate effectively within project teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and accountable approach.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor with a customer service focus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.) are preferred.
